Who is responsible

The controller of your data is Paweł Koryciński, who runs Slowticker. Contact: support@slowticker.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the form: your email address, and which language version of the page you signed up on. Until you confirm it, the address is not stored anywhere: it travels only inside the confirmation link we email you. While handling the form our server sees your IP address, to limit sign-ups from one address; it is not stored.

What it is for

Two emails at most: one asking you to confirm your address, and one on the day Slowticker launches. Nothing else: no newsletter, no advertising, and we do not pass the address on to anyone. The basis is your consent, given by signing up and confirming (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.

Unsubscribing

Every email has an “Unsubscribe” link: one click takes you off the list. The unsubscribe button your email program shows next to the sender works too.

Who handles it for us

Resend, Inc. (USA) sends the emails and keeps the list of confirmed addresses on our behalf. Its own privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Vercel, Inc. (USA) hosts this page and runs the form's server function, and like any web host briefly keeps technical logs of visits.

How long we keep it

Until the launch email is sent. After that the list is deleted. If Slowticker does not launch, the list is deleted too. An address that was never confirmed is never stored.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent: write to support@slowticker.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
